Advocating for regenerative places.

Rooted in people, place & planet.

Madison Taylor Sacramone is a designer & observer of places for people & nature.

An evolving body of research grounded in interconnection and regenerative design, investigating how incremental, strategic interventions can act as urban catalysts for long-term transformation. This work examines place-based methodologies such as urban acupuncture can identify leverage points within complex urban systems—unlocking the community potential and strengthening local knowledge capacity. This research offers new ways to advocate for and foster inclusive, resilient, and thriving places.

Placemaking, Regeneration & Design

A portfolio of design work spanning interior design, sustainable design, landscape architecture, and masterplanning, developed through both academic exploration and professional practice within the placemaking sector. Each project reflects an integrated approach—bridging spatial design with ecological thinking and social value. Grounded in nature-based solutions, the work responds to the specific qualities of place—its culture and ecology.

What does it mean to design regenerative places?

My work is driven by a fascination with the interconnections between people, place, and the wider living systems we are part of. I explore how thoughtful design—of both physical environments and social networks—can strengthen relationships, build resilience, and support a transition toward regenerative futures. Working across art & design practice, research, and curated experiences, I am intrigued by how we reconnect with place in meaningful ways.
